In view of recent reported cases of Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA) at the quarantine station in KLIA, the committee has decided in the interest of all members, as follows :-
1) To immediately conduct tests on all horses at the club for EIA, using the Coggins Test.
2) Until the results of the test are returned, to close the traffic of all horses into and out of the club. There will be no exception to the closure. We expect the results to be returned within 2–3 weeks, and members will be notified accordingly.
3) To consider additional or annual testing for EIA
4) The Club will bear the cost of the initial test.
